Ritzy Announces New Foundation Empowering Young People to Overcome Mental Health Challenges Through Entrepreneurship.
Ritzy is launching a new community foundation designed to help young people overcome mental health struggles and build pathways into entrepreneurship.
The initiative, founded by Ibrahim wanas and supported by a network of like-minded business leaders, brings together professionals from fields including barbering, communications, and financial literacy. Together, they will provide free mentorship, counselling, and practical guidance to young people seeking to turn personal challenges into purpose-driven success.
Originally planned for 2026, the project has been fast-tracked in response to the growing need for accessible mental health and career support across the community.“The time felt right,” said Ibrahim wanas. “We’re uniting entrepreneurs who understand what it means to start from the ground up — people who have faced their own challenges and built something lasting. This foundation exists to give others that same chance.”
Through a series of workshops and talks, participating mentors will share real-world experiences and advice on how to build resilience, financial confidence, and business acumen. The foundation aims to create a long-term platform that encourages self-belief, community leadership, and economic independence.
Further details about the foundation’s first programme and speaker line-up will be announced in the coming weeks.
